Where can I find information on all the activities and visits in the region?

We'll be delighted to advise you on what to see and do.

Documentation (IGN maps, walking routes, Green Guide, etc.) and a map from the Haute-Marne Tourist Board will be available at the gîte.

You can visit the Langres tourist office, 10 minutes from the gîte, for valuable advice.

The website welcome-hautemarne.fr and the application IDVIZIT can also help you prepare for your stay.   

What can we do on foot or by bike from the cottage?

From the gîte, you can explore the paths along the meadows and through the woods of Saint-Martin-lès-Langres, with lovely views over the valley.

Lac de la Mouche is just a short walk or bike ride away. You can walk around it on the footpath and, if you like, you can go fishing.

And for the more sporty, you can follow part of the Via Francigena route that passes in front of the B&B, on its way to Rome.  

What shops are nearby?

All local shops are 10 minutes from the gîte in Langres.

The weekly market takes place every Friday.

During the summer, a summer market takes place in Langres every Wednesday from 5pm.
